Business and Sight-Seeing in Korea (Winter 2005)

In late February 2005 I flew to Seoul, Korea to visit my friend Eirk Bethke and spend some time at the offices of his company GoPets.

While in Seoul I stayed in this apartment. When I wasn't picked up by the GoVan, I had to take the subway to get to GoPets offices

This and the next picture are from my apartment.

More.

Same. In teh center can be seen the stream that runs near the GoPets offices.

One option for getting to the GoPets offices from the nearest subway station is to cross the stream via some stepping stones.

This and the next five pictures were taken from the roof of the building housing the GoPets offices.

Next to the Korean Folk Village was an amusement park. Erik and Kyle are riding the carousel (on the horse second to the left).

A later snowfall has covered the stream next to the GoPets offices. Crossing the stream wasn't too hard because the stepping stones has mostly been cleared of snow.

There is a large mall in Seoul at the COEX complex which includes a convention center and hotels. The only Apple Store in Korea is loaded at this mall.
